Folder Khas Muncul Dengan Ikon Kuning Generik di Windows
Semasa anda membuka Explorer, folder shell seperti Dokumen, Video, Muzik atau Gambar mungkin dipaparkan dengan ikon folder standard dan bukannya ikon folder khas. Tingkah laku ini boleh berlaku apabila fail desktop.ini di folder shell hilang atau tidak betul, atau tidak mempunyai atribut yang ditetapkan.
Sekiranya folder shell telah kehilangan ikon khasnya dan muncul sebagai folder generik (kuning), anda perlu membuat atau memperbaiki fail Desktop.ini untuk folder shell.
Kandungan lalai fail desktop.ini untuk pelbagai folder shell diberikan di bawah untuk setiap Sistem Operasi. Di setiap folder shell yang tidak mempunyai ikon khas, buat fail bernama desktop.ini dan tampal kandungan yang sesuai dengan folder shell.
Setelah selesai, tetapkan atribut fail desktop.ini ke Tersembunyi dan Baca sahaja . Kemudian, tetapkan atribut Read-only untuk folder shell menggunakan perintah attrib . Dayakan Atribut Hanya Baca dan Tersembunyi untuk fail Desktop.ini
Setelah menambahkan kandungan dan menyimpan fail desktop.ini, klik kanan fail desktop.ini dan pilih Properties.
$config[ads_text6] not foundLetakkan tanda semak di dekat atribut Tersembunyi dan Baca sahaja, dan klik OK.
Tekan {F5} untuk memuat semula paparan folder, dan lihat apakah ikon folder khas dipulihkan. Atau lebih baik, anda boleh menyemak semula selepas kitaran but semula.
Sekiranya ikon tidak disegarkan, anda perlu menetapkan atribut read-only untuk folder shell jika belum ditetapkan.
Menetapkan Atribut Hanya Baca untuk Folder Khas
Buka tetingkap Prompt Perintah (CMD.EXE). Untuk melakukannya, klik Mula, klik Semua Program, klik Aksesori, klik Prompt Perintah . Dengan menggunakan perintah Attrib, tetapkan atribut Read-only untuk folder shell. Berikut adalah contoh, yang menerangkan cara menetapkan atribut Read-Only untuk folder khas " Muat turun "
Catatan: Di mana Ramesh (dalam contoh di atas) adalah nama akaun pengguna, dan Muat turun adalah nama folder shell. Anda boleh menjalankan perintah Attrib dari mana-mana jalur Prompt Perintah, selagi anda menyebut jalan penuh ke folder, seperti dalam contoh di atas.
Anda boleh menggunakan perintah Salin sebagai Jalur shell untuk menyalin jalur folder shell ke papan keratan, dan tampalkannya di Prompt Perintah sehingga anda tidak perlu mengetik keseluruhan jalan secara manual.

Muat turun DesktopINIFix.zip untuk Windows Vista.
Catatan: Setelah memperbaiki Desktop.ini, anda mungkin perlu log keluar dan log masuk kembali (atau mulakan semula shell explorer.exe) agar ikon folder disegarkan.
